Pinhook Rye’d On straight rye is masterfully crafted rye that is aged and distilled directly from Castle & Key Distillery using Pinhook’s own proprietary rye mash bill. Aged for a minimum of 2 years and composed of 20% corn, 60% rye, and 20% malted barley, Pinhook Rye’d On was released in 2020 and has a matured barrel strength of 97% proof. On first pour, the senses are awakened to tones of sweet peaches, crushed spearmint leaves, and warmly toasted cinnamon sticks. The palate is a swathe of melted toffee over orchard cherries, spices, and darkly roasted cloves.
