Like the softly rippling waters of a bubbling creek lush with emerald green grasses and fronds of ripe rye grain peaking from between stacked rock, Catoctin Creek Roundstone Rye organic rye whisky offers up a unique and truly beautiful tasting experience. Made from 100% rye grain and crafted from scratch at the Catoctin Creek Distillery in Virginia, Roundstone Rye is aged for 2-3 years in newly charred white oak barrels with a proof of 80%. On the nose are hues of wild honeysuckle flowers and grassland with notes of honey slathered leather and just a touch of banana. The palate offers up more sweetness with hits of fruit, lemon, crushed almonds, and rye spice.
