Part of Heaven’s Door now discontinued private blend program, Highway 61 is a combination of three customized choices of bourbon and rye sourced from an undisclosed distillery. Released in 2020, Highway 61 has a finished cask strength of 95.7 % proof with no age statement. On the nose are sweet tones of marshmallow, crisp green apples, and caramel over baking spices and roasted rye grains. The tongue is rife with hits of spiced rye, cinnamon, and cracked peppercorns layered in vanilla caramel and cream.
