Originally released in 2019, Brown-Forman’s Old Forester Kentucky straight rye is a richly gold-hued whiskey delicately balanced and perfectly quaffable! This NAS rye contains a mash bill of 65% rye, 20% malted barley, and 15% corn with a finished barrel strength of 100% proof and is an ongoing release from Brown-Forman. From the first pour, the nose is treated to notes of bright blossoming flowers and warmly roasted brown sugar over hints of citrus zest and rye. The palate is layered in delicate bites of soft banana, cloves, allspice, and touches of nutmeg blended with shelled nuts and dark cocoa powder.
