This NAS rye is said to be matured for a minimum of 3 months in Plantation rum casks and is composed of a mash bill containing 95% rye and 5% malted barley for a finished cask strength of 94% proof. The aroma is a blend of delicate rye spice, toasted cinnamon, and warm molasses candy dipped in vanilla. On the tongue are notes of more rye and cinnamon over layers of molasses, brown sugar, and slivers of aged oak.
