Established in 1828 on the site of Archibald Mitchell’s illegal still, Springbank now operates under the ownership of the fifth generation Mitchell family, chaired by Mitchell’s great, great grandson, Hedley G. Wright. Based in Campbeltown, once named the ‘whisky capital of the world,’ the Springbank distillery uses traditional methods in every step of their whisky making process.
