The Balanvie, located in Speyside, Scotland, is a distillery of tru tradition. They still grow their own barley and use with a traditional malting floor, the last of its kind in the Scottish Highlands. The distillery’s resident coppersmith maintains the stills and the team of coopers ensure each barrel is in perfect condition. Of course, the Malt Master, David Stewart presides over the all-important maturation process, working to find ways to improve each and every drop.
