As if to signify its new beginnings, Daviess County Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Finished Kentucky straight bourbon is a complex offering created with a mixed mash bill of wheat and rye. This whiskey is aged for 4 years and finished for 6 months in cabernet barrels with a cask strength of 96% proof. The nose is a warm dip into plum wine, rich cream, and delicately roasted spice. On the tongue, the notes of toasted rosemary over layers of tannin soak the mouth.
