This rich Scotch is aged a minimum of 10 years in first and second fill bourbon casks hewn from Glenmorangie’s own parcel of Ozark mountain land. Composed of a mash bill containing 100% barley with a finished cask strength of 86% proof, The Original 10 has a nose of honey-soaked malt, vanilla cream, and caramel over banana, silvers of oak, and copper pennies. The palate is more of the same with additional notes of toasted spice and banana taffy seasoned with toasted spice.
