Ichiros Malt Chichibu The First Single Malt Japanese Spirit 750ml Bottle

The first single malt produced by the Chichibu Distillery, which was founded by Ichiro Akuto in 2008. Akuto’s family had a 300 year long history of producing sake before his grandfather tried his hand at distilling in 1946. That distillery, Hanyu, unfortunately only lasted two generations, but Ichiro is determined to keep the tradition alive. ‘The First’ is aged in ex-bourbon casks and a single Japanese Mizunara oak cask.
