Aged for a minimum of 4 years in new charred American oak barrels with a mash bill of 80% corn, 12% barley, and 8% rye – Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 Black Label Tennessee whiskey combines limestone-filtered cave water and a sour mash from previous batches to highlight its rich notes and bold flavor. With a finishing bottle strength of 90% proof, this whiskey is charcoal-mellowed through J. Daniel’s own Lincoln County Process and is labeled under a NAS. On the nose are boughs of ripe banana and vanilla bean with tones of baked corn. The palate compliments the nose with more bold hits of banana, corn, and barrel char over touches of exotic fruit and spice.
